Hello, I am a single mother of 5 kids. My X was abusive mentally and emotionally and sometimes physically. I was finally able to leave him with the help of my mother. My X is not paying child support at the time yet. I am still involved with the court system which takes forever. I have a boyfriend who tries to help when he can but he has 4 kids already so it is hard. I have been trying to get my 6 mo old in early headstart and my 3 yr old in headstart so I can get out & get a job but they are also lagging. I have no money for my house payment this month and no money for Christmas for my 6 mo old 3 yr old 4 yr old 5 yr old and 8 yr old. I am at a loss. I have tried applying for TANF and everywhere I turn I am running into some kind of wall. They said since my mother helped me out a month ago on bills I do not qualify even though she cant help me this month. WHAT DO I DO? I need help I am desprate & scared. Can you help me? Britt
